I just wondered if anyone had any insight on this, my parents live in an estate and recently a lot of animals have been turning up seeking shelter in our garden.

They are mainly sick cats, strange birds and squirrels. One of the cats has become the first family pet!

My family has been going through a lot of "stuff" this year and while having the animals around has lifted all our spirits I wonder if they have a greater significance?

At least two members have very strong connections with animals and the earth energies, there are also many nature spirits around the house itself, one of those in the family has been emerging onto a new path and this has sparked the increase members of the animal kingdom being around - they love her energy. You could an almost a Saint Francis of Asissi quality, it's quite lovely.
