Body Expansion
During a Reikii healing I experienced
a massive expansion of the body equivalent to taking in very deep breaths.
It was totally spontaneous and lasted for about ten breaths. It happened
on two occasions during the healing session.
Q. Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone an explanation
what might be happening?

A. A possible answer is that the body is taking in large doses of the orgone layer. That unseen, non matter energy that feeds the body.

Thanks for the sharing. Sounds like you accessed a pretty neat experience.
It appears to me that what you experienced was an infusion of higher consciousness
energy into your auric field via the chakra system, top down. The reiki
channel of your wife was used as an access portal (or perhaps you are
a long-term meditator, too, I have no way of knowing, which allowed that
expansiveness to come in).
As a result, the auric field was expanded (and this too includes the Lightbody
expansion) which allows for an expansion of awareness, which really was
both the process and the goal, altho at the time it simply and beautifully
happened. If you had known what was happening you may have tried to slow
it down and analyze it and then get kicked out of the space. I wouldn't
say that it was an initiation, except in the sense it was something you
haven't had beforehand. But I believe that was your experience Michael.
And they do come and go and can't be tied down.

Often the chakras and energy layers like the astral, etheric, mental, emotional and spiritual layer contain blockages. What occurs during a healing is the energy is channelled through the healer into the client’s energy field where it gradually removes blockages which cause illness and disruption in the persons life.
Also check out a process called “Rebirthing” which removes blockages through deep breaths into the body.

A This is unusual, but is likely part of a healing response. The body knows what it needs to do to heal and with the help of Reiki often creates experiences like this to help move negative energy out and bring in positive energy.

I feel that this expansion of the auric, alike blowing up a balloon, was to accommodate certain healing energies that were needed at that particular time. What would normally happen after an experience like that, would be that Auric bodies would be stabilised to the a larger circumference. This would also increase the conscious and spiritual awareness of the individual.
